Independence for Scotland is probably right

As we finally approach real Brexit and the great changes it will engender in our nation, it’s worthwhile remembering why Brexit is a good thing — even though it may cause short-term financial pain.

For me, the principal argument for Brexit has always been to restore a functional democracy. To declare an interest early on, I’m a believer in direct democracy, not our poor ineffective representational kind. So, taking back control is just a steppingstone for me to what I’d really like for our nation.
